#544 Majorette - Sonic Flashers (Series 2300) (Various Models) (1989 Together With 1990)

From 1989 Catalogue

I already wrote i entry well-nigh Sonic Flashers, but this entry is to a greater extent than ambitious too volition endeavour to explicate a piddling to a greater extent than well-nigh them.

This trouble was launched inwards 1989 too from the really kickoff it had corking sales. This success would after atomic number 82 to a diversification of the line, alongside novel too parallel lines, similar nation of war machine vehicles, planes... each serial had a dissimilar number. The "ordinary" Sonic Flashers were serial 2300, too each model had a reference issue 23XX. This entry volition last devoted solely to the criterion 2300 series.

The activity feature, of course, was that each automobile made a detail audio too around low-cal final result that could last activated when pushed down. On the within each automobile has a pocket-sized printed circuit board alongside a prison theatre cellphone battery. According to the advertisement, the battery was able to piece of occupation the characteristic over 1500 times. Most models were based on previously existing Majorette models, although around were modified, in all likelihood to allow plenty infinite on the interior for the circuit board. Majorette didn´t allow to alter batteries inwards the firstly models, although around others after models had screws instead of rivets.

2301 POLICE CAR (PORSCHE 928) ("POLIZEI" GERMAN VER.) too 2304 PACE CAR

As said before, the trouble was launched firstly inwards 1989 alongside solely three dissimilar casts too 8 references. Those firstly models were:

• Porsche 928 (Police, Pace Car, Rescue Vehicle)
• Ford Bronco (Sheriff, Fire Engine, 4X4 Rallye)
• Ford Transit (Ambulance, Police Van)

The Police ornament of the Porsche was adapted to Federal Republic of Federal Republic of Germany inwards this exceptional model I am showing here, together alongside 2 versions of the Pace Car (red or yellowish sirens).

From 1990 Catalogue

The adjacent year, 1990, the trouble was expanded alongside several novel models too decorations. The models from the previous twelvemonth were all the same available, the novel were:

• Chevrolet Impala Police
• Pompier "Fire Truck"
• Fougon "Police Van"
• Ambulance
• BMW 750i
• Chevrolet Corvette (Coupé too ZR 1)

Each model was equipped alongside a suitable sound, these were available:

• Police
• Alert
• Emergency
• Fire
• Horn
• Brakes
• Truck Horn
• Not defined yet (by the fourth dimension Majorette published the catalogues too the backcards, 2 cars were promised a "new sound", this audio was genuinely a motor audio spell accelerating too shifting gears).

Since the trouble was becoming to a greater extent than too to a greater extent than popular, at that spot were besides gift packs available alongside several cars inside. Some sets could last genuinely big, around fifty-fifty mixing vehicles from the 2300 serial alongside planes or helicopters of other Sonic Flashers' series.

In 1991, in i lawsuit again novel models, novel decorations too novel sounds:
The Chevrolet Impala gets a novel ornament inwards bluish instead of black, too the Pace Car Porsche volition last released inwards yellowish instead of orange. More interesting is the rename of the BMW 750i to 535i, although I intend the bluish models all the same had "750i" tampographied on the doors.

The novel models/decorations are:

• BMW 535i inwards black
• Ambulance inwards reddish "Fire Rescue"
• Ferrari "Super GT"
• Semi Truck
• 4X4 Beverage Truck
• Ford Bronco 4X4 "Crash Car"

The novel sounds are "music", "broken glass" too "turn signal/car horn".

In 1992, at that spot were less news, only

• Ford Bronco "Police 4X4" alongside machine gun sound
• 6X6 S.W.A.T. alongside missile lauch sound
• Rocket Launcher alongside missile lauch sound

From 1993 on, at that spot were solely novel decorations made but no novel sounds or casts. This year, the yellow train was besides released equally business office of the 2340 series, which are to the 2300 serial what the 300 serial is to the 200.

Some casts created for this serial were after reused inwards the ordinary series. Although this model is quite recent, I include hither the pictures of the Sport Proto made inwards the early on 2000s, without audio or lights:

#645 Existent Ghostbusters - Wicked Wheelie (1989)

In 1988, the Real Ghostbusters trouble released the Haunted Humans, ghosts amongst human appearance. This subseries comprised half dozen figures (you tin order the sack encounter 3 of them here: #360). The side past times side year/wave, these figures were too available, every bit good every bit other ghosts "in disguise". These other haunted humans/objects were non marked amongst whatsoever subtitle, that is, they belonged to the full general series, every bit the Fearsome Flush or the Full Speed Ahead Ghost (#105).

In this case, Wicked Wheelie is 2 ghosts inwards one, or a ghost amongst 2 parts. The driver´s appear upwardly as well as belly tin order the sack move opened revealing a mouth, thonge as well as eyes of a terrific monster. The motorcycle turns into a terrifying insect-like monster. Has a for certain similitude to the VW Bug "Highway Hunter" (#488). Both toys likely had the same designer.

There was a second, really similar, toy inwards this moving ridge called Air Sickness, that comprised but about form of vehicle as well as a driver/pilot. When I consummate it, I volition update this entry.

FACTS as well as FIGURES:

#662 Super Caser - Super Atlas Bot (Lh-747) (Around 1989)

MONTH OF THE BOOTLEG AND THE KNOCK-OFF AT TOYS FROM THE PAST!

I flora this box a few years agone at a flea market. It is a transformers-like combiner (or "gestalt") robot made inwards Taiwan. The laid upwards comprises ii cars (both await quite futuristic) together with 1 jet, summation about chromed accesories. The names are Ex-Caeser, Atlas-Carbot together with Atlas-Jetbot. They combine into Super Atlas Bot.

I cause got made pictures of each part, although I ddin´t endeavour to transform or combine them, since this toys are oftentimes quite fragile, together with non really good done. I intend this laid upwards was made inwards the slow 80s, perhaps root for the American together with European markets, together with it in all likelihood came to Espana later, inwards 1991 or 1992. When I flora it, it was alongside many other inexpensive toys from the early on 90s, I estimate it was the classic street vendor of toys together with candies that goes from 1 fair to the next. During the 80s, most toys were made inwards Hong-Kong, merely starting inwards 1992 or 1993, Chinese toys were to a greater extent than together with to a greater extent than common, together with character decreased.

To my knowledge, these 3 robots are non copies of whatever Transformers robot, they are non bootlegs, merely knock-offs. However, I intend about of these accesories are actual copies of other made yesteryear Hasbro or Takara.

The toys are made basically inwards white plastic, alongside parts inwards vivid orange, blueish together with other appealing colours. Stickers are similar to Hasbro´s: colourful merely without silverish background, together with the full general appearance is, I would say, similar a G2 Transformer. It could live easily false yesteryear a G2.

Something I discovery groovy virtually knock-offs are their imaginative packaging. The box is too colourful together with makes a groovy impression. Just similar the "expensive" transformers, the box has about windows that disclose the actual contents of the box. It too has a flap to live hung inwards about sort of display case. The labels used together with the names are really exotic, alongside an abuse of superlatives, similar "Double Joint Power Up", ". The dorsum of the box has the instructions, how to transform each business office together with how to combine them into Super Atlas Bot, merely they comprise several spelling errors, which is too typical inwards many Asian knock-off toys from the 90s.

FACTS together with FIGURES:

• Name: SUPER ATLAS BOT (LH-747)
• Toy Line: Super Caser
• Year: Around 1989
• Company: Unknown Manufacturer (Taiwan)
• Size of the figures: Around 8 cm long

#714 G.I. Joe- Artic Nail Amongst Windchill (1989)

This vehicle was released inward 1989. When I kickoff saw it, I idea it was the coolest concept for a G.I. Joe vehicle ever, only today I don’t similar it really much. Most people I know intend similarly. Where create you lot piece of job past times away amongst such an overpowered sleigh? Would it live effective every bit an onset vehicle inward the snow? The weapons included several auto guns as well as 2 missiles.

So complex every bit it seems, the vehicle is actually easy, it is basically i big piece, the harness, 2 big wheels as well as a few bits. These bits (all inward orange/yellow) bring an uncomfortable property, every bit it is, that they decolour. Most of these vehicles inward sealed box would bring the next problem: the xanthous bits decolour as well as the white trunk piece of job past times away yellow-stained. But stained inward a really ugly way. It is non that master snowfall white whatsoever more, only depending on the exposition to the xanthous parts, it powerfulness piece of job past times away actually yellow. That’s why I opened my box every bit shortly every bit I got it, to split upwards the xanthous parts inward an extra pocketbook as well as foreclose farther harm to my Artic Blast. I don’t know if the American version bring this same problem, only inward whatsoever case, all European Artic Blasts bring it.

No affair what, I ain this vehicle inward its master box and, of course, its driver Windchill. This figure is genuinely great. It cames amongst an assail rifle as well as 2 skies (these bring piddling guns at the tip of the figure toes).

The box instance is, every bit usual, splendid as well as the motion painting at the dorsum is likewise peachy amongst that gradient as well as the peachy scenery behind. Fun that the driver is exterior the vehicle.
